SOIL EVALUATION FOR TURF INSTALL
Many sites which have been used for construction, or recent house builds have had the topsoil removed or washed away. This exposes the subsoil, such as clay. To install turf we need to provide the turf with a healthy base. If the topsoil is not present, it is advised to apply natural gypsum at a rate of 1 kg per square metre, then coat the soil mix with up to 200mm. HOW IS TURF INSTALLED?
